Blacksmith Farrier Horseshoeing Sign Showing Trade Tools, Linn; Martinsville IL

Absolutely wonderful, original blacksmith/farrier sign displaying tools of the trade. The sign originated from the shop of ‘A. Linn’ from Martinsville IL. Mr. Linn operated his carriage and blacksmith shop from 1898 to the early 1950’s. This museum find looks great hanging from a sign bracket or mounted to a wall. 18’ h x 11” w x 1/2”. The hoof knife was created with a partially rolled end making the sign more dimensional. Included with the blacksmith sign is the ‘A. Linn’ owners name sign which is made of tin with cutout letters and rounded milk glass inserts. One insert is missing.
