Each set is in an individual sealed package. These are adhesive with a backing and protective finish.See below for application and removal instructions.THESE NAIL WRAPS ARE MADE OF NAIL POLISH WITH A BACKING AND A PROTECTIVE FINISH.THESE ARE NOT THE SAME AS COLOR STREET NAIL WRAPS.THEY ARE EXACTLY THE SAME AS LILY AND FOX NAIL WRAPS.These nail wraps are self adhesive. You can apply to plain nails, polished nails, gel, plastic or acrylic nails. Any kind of nails. You may want to apply a base coat first, especially if you have oily nails and skin.Sally Hansen Hard as Nails or Orly Bonder Rubberized Base Coat work well.Wash your hands and nails with soap. You can also wipe with an alcohol wipe to remove your natural oils.Find the right size wrap for your nail.Remove the clear plastic film from the wrap.Remove the wrap from the top side, in other words, the end that will get cut or filed away.Line up the wrap with your cuticle, but do not cover your actual cuticle.Starting with the cuticle end, apply the wrap to your fingernail, and reposition if necessary.Smooth out the wrap, pressing gently from the cuticle end to the tip of the nail.Smooth out one side, then across the top of the nail, then back up the other side.Use a circular rubbing motion. If there are wrinkles, you can stretch the wrap out a bit. Using nail clippers or manicure scissors, cut the wrap longer than your nail. File off the extra length to match your nail.File with a downward stroke only. Do not file side to side, the way you normally file your nails. Side to side filing ruins the adhesive on the tip of the wrap.Gently pull off the extra end of the nail wrap. Smooth out any edges with a fine nail file.Top coat is optional. If you choose to apply a top coat, apply polish over the tip of your nail to seal it.Good top coats are Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Top Coat or Essie Platinum Grade Finish Top Coat.Do not use quick dry formula top coats.Do not put your hands in hot water for at least 6 hours. Try to avoid really hot water anytime you have your nail wraps on.Do not get hands wet for at least 1 hour.I highly recommend rubber gloves when washing dishes or bathing the baby or children.Keep sunscreens away from your nails. HOW TO REMOVE THE NAIL WRAPS:There are two ways to remove your nail wraps:1. Soak a cotton round in polish remover. Place it on each nail on one hand. Wait 4-5 minutes. I like to use "Nail polish remover clips" from Amazon.Push the cotton pad from the cuticle to the end of the nail to slide the wrap off. You may need a wooden manifure stick to push it off or gently lift it. 2. Put a small amount of warm water in a bowl and add either LEMON JUICE or COCONUT OIL.Soak nails for about 5 minutes, or more if needed. When the nail wrap begins to lose it's adherance to your nail, use a wooden manicure stick to gently remove the wrap, on the side of the nail, towards the tip.
